- If your CV’s education section is short (because you have a lot of work experience), then abbreviate your degree classification with numbers. For example:
Use 1st, 2:1, 2:2, 3rd, or ordinary pass in this case.
- If your CV’s education section is long (because you’ve recently graduated and don’t have much work experience), write out your degree classification in full using words. For example:
Use first class honours, upper second class honours, lower second class honours, third class honours, or ordinary pass.
